Why wouldn't I hire an in-house copywriter instead?
An experienced, full-time copywriter who can actually drive results and adapt across different styles of copy costs over $100k/yr. Plus, you're also on the hook for benefits, PTO, & training time. And when it comes to copy, there's often times where there isn't enough work for them so you're paying a full-time salary but not actually using their time.
With our monthly plan, you can pause or cancel whenever you need to so that you're only paying for copy when you need it.
What does 'unlimited requests in the queue' mean?
Once subscribed, you're able to add as many copy requests to your queue as you'd like and they will be delivered one by one and in order. Make sure you prioritize your requests from top to bottom!
How quickly will I receive my copy?
The vast majority of requests are completed in 48 hours or less (Mon-Fri). If any requests require more complex research or are larger in nature, we will communicate & decide together on an appropriate timeline for delivery.
How does pausing my subscription work?
Some months you may have endless amounts of copy requests, and some months you may only have a couple - or none! The beauty of this subscription is that you can simply pause when you have no work for us so you're not losing any unused time.
Billing cycles are based on a 30-day period. So, for example, you may sign up and use the service for 14 days, and then you decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 16 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future!
(Your payment will be completed already but you'll still have those 16 days credited to your account to use whenever you want.)
How do we communicate & make our requests?
We work completely async so that we can get work done as efficiently as possible! No live meetings needed. We're great at communicating (hence why we're copywriters), so most conversations can happen easily and efficiently directly within Trello and our shared documents. If more discussion is necessary, we always find great success in collaborating through video messages.
All copy requests are submitted and stored in your dedicated Trello board, where you'll be able to follow along with all progress and add as many of your team members as you'd like. Some common ways clients request copy within Trello is simply writing descriptions in Trello cards, linking Google doc briefs, or even recording quick Loom videos (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out).

How do bigger projects, like full web pages, work?
Obviously larger projects like entire landing pages, site pages, or long video scripts will likely need more than ~48 hours to complete at a high-quality-level. After all, you're not only paying for speed with us, you're paying for quality!
In these cases, we'll break large projects into separate requests so we can keep making quick progress while ensuring we have the time to properly research, brainstorm, and deliver to the highest standards.
For example: if you need copy for an entire landing page, we'll break the page into sections, and each section will become its own request.
Or, if you'd prefer to review the whole project in its entirety, we'll simply communicate with you to decide on an acceptable timeline & plan to deliver it all at once by or before that mutual due date.
Are refunds available?
Due to the nature of this fully custom service & the quality of the work, refunds are not available. If you need to cancel though, just go ahead and pause your subscription in your account. Very easy & no questions asked.
And hey, if you have time left over that you never plan on using (unlikely), you can put us to work writing birthday cards or angry messages to customer support for the remainder of your subscription!
